Electromagnetic Field (EMF) Inspections: What You Should Know

Hey people, this is Bob with NC Express. We had somebody call us up the other day looking to see if we did any inspections on their home for electromagnetic fields.

Why EMF Testing Matters

Some people are very sensitive to these things and experience some pretty nasty, bothersome side effects. Some of you may even experience the side effects but not know that it is connected with some of the electronic devices you have in your home. Okay, so yes, we do that. We do testing, we see what the levels are, and we can alert customers to say:

  • “Okay, this appliance or this part of your home has higher levels than normal.”

This allows people to say, “I need a new appliance,” “I need to do something different,” or “Let me move it away.”

A Look at the Testing Process

I just wanted to show you a little bit of what we do. This is a meter that we use, and it measures the electromagnetic field. The range we are allowed to be exposed to, that’s supposed to be non-harming, is about a three.

I’ve got my toaster oven on.Let me go up next to it and see where we’re at:

  • Over a hundred, six point four, seventy, it gets high. But if I back away, it’s not a big deal. I am now about 30 inches or so from it and it’s safe.

So if you’ve got a toaster oven, put something in and back away.Exposed for a short period of time is not that big a deal, but staying there for longer periods can get pretty nasty.

Example: Microwave

Here’s my microwave, it’s a new one, less than a year old. Let me push start. Look where I’m at, I’m about three, three and a half feet away and already...

  • High, high, I’ve got to get about six feet away for it to be a safe area when it’s running.

Again, if you’ve got a microwave, get it tested. Put your stuff in it, and back away.Don’t sit there staring into it, watching something cook, not good, not healthy.

Example: Coffee Pot

Let’s check my coffee pot, I’ve got a Keurig over here.

  • Not bad, I’ve got to get right up on it, but it’s still pretty good.

  • Heating a little bit, but who’s going to hang out in front of their Keurig that close? Back away, it’s not a big deal.

Example: Television and Apple TV Box

My television does okay. Here, I’m going to show it to you just so you can see:

  • My TV? Nothing.

  • My Apple Box Thing? Nothing. So that’s okay.

What We Provide

So there you go, folks, some of the stuff we do:

  • We come out.

  • We do a report.

  • We tell you where your weak areas are.

  • We tell you where you need to stay away.

A Special Note About Children and Wi-Fi

Some appliances, do me a favor:

If you have children, do not let them stay near the Wi-Fi and router. That gives off high frequencies as well, not good for babies especially. There are some pretty nasty things connected with babies that are exposed for a long time. If your child is sleeping in a room with a Wi-Fi router right next to them, please take them away from it.Find another room.

Want an EMF Inspection?

If you want us to come out and check your home:

  • Give us a call.

  • Visit our website: ncexpress.pro (That’s P-R-O)

There’s even an article on there about EMFs, and you can read all the side effects that it has.

There Are Solutions

If it’s something you’re concerned about, we can:

  • Come out and test your home

  • Recommend a few solutions

There are even products you can put on your electrical panel that help:

  • Reduce EMFs

  • Provide surge protection at the same time

There are solutions out there — but you don’t know what you don’t know.

Anyway, that’s it for today.

Hope you're doing well. Be blessed.

Thanks for being a customer.
